Announcement by KN6RBP

I would like to thank everyone who participated in
ARRL Field Day 2024

By all accounts this was a well attended, fun & productive Field Day.
27 LDARC members (out of our 54 membership) who attended the Field Day
22 visitors who signed in (not including a few we didn’t get signed in).
There were two who indicated they would be sending in their membership application.
I believe that number may ultimately be higher.
Testing was a success with 3 new Technician class licensees.
We made 163 phone contacts, 86 Digital & 4 CW contacts during the event.
We also have some big bonus points as well (I’ll have the totals for you next week).

We also ate really well. The food was so amazing! Marcos and crew really outdid themselves.
Everyone brought their “A” game! I have received numerous compliments on how well organized, and attended the event was. We have a so much to be proud.
As a club we are doing some really great things. I am thrilled by what we are accomplishing together. Once again thank you all. I think we are only beginning to see what we can accomplish together. Some of you have ideas for new events, and ideas for how to make them better.

The future is bright for this club. I am so proud of what we are building together.

I have included the pictures from the event on the home page. And look for some videos of the event on our new YouTube feed. Those will be uploaded probably tomorrow.

Finally much of our success is due to the ideas and hard work of our Vise President KN6UNL. Marcos, this club is VERY fortunate to have you as our VP. Thank You Sir.

Congratulations to: Richard Santana, Sean Hamilton, Daniel Clay.
