There will also be demonstrations throughout the day, like HT antenna testing, Satellite communications, Antenna Tuning with Nano VNA, FT8 operations, and of course, Phone contacting and logging.

Tickets are $5 for 1 hamburger or 2 hot dogs.

Third Tuesday of the month NEW LDARC HF Contact Contest.

Wednesday is our club meeting so there is no digital only net or digital only after hours this week.

Bands & Modes schedule, changes from time to time. So keep an eye on our website for updates.

Lets have some fun, and change up Bands & Modes a bit.

On the third Tuesday for bands and modes, from 20:30 to 21:00 we work for points, fun & prestige. all while improving our HF capabilities.

Here’s the plan.

  • 2 Points for any QSO on any band, using any mode.
  • 1 point for any QSO another station makes using the frequency you shared with the group.

1 bonus point for each QSO you post on QRZ.com

And for those of you who really want get big points,
10 points for any CW contact on any band.

Finally, as an incentive to help new hams use the tech area of 10M

2 bonus points for any QSO made by you or another station you sent to the tech area of the 10M band.

Our regular 10M frequency will continue to be our net frequency.
Points and frequency’s are to be reported to net control. Only then do the points count.
Net control will also keep track of who found a frequency we use for a QSO’s.

The winner will receive an official, LDARC, ATABOY.

All QSO’s must be made using modes and frequencies indicated on the icom band plan linked here
As always, only operate within the parameters of your FCC license.

I just made all of this up so any feedback you have will be appreciated.
