So with that said, tonight will be 10M FM after our Eagle Net. Then tomorrow will be 2M C4FM.
BTW our 2 meter C4FM frequency will be the digital frequency used this weekend at the DV wildflower trail.
So that’s C4FM Ch1 144.950 tomorrow and 10M 29.635 Mhz FM tonight after 10M SSB operations.
The aforementioned DV wildflower trail walk is on for this weekend, and it appears that it will be worth the wait. The forecast is predicting 76 with scattered clouds. The blooms are getting better and better. The stage is set.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, cameras and XYL’s. Bring and a radio (Digital or FM). We meet at 9AM. Hyatt has offered to take as many as will fit in his SUV. I can take a carload up too so reach out to Hyatt or myself to save money on vehicle charge. This is a special year with all the rain we have had. Don’t miss out. More info and pictures are on our DV Wildflower website page.
Another opportunity I recommend you consider is the Dr. Fong post lecture Antenna Pricing.
This pricing is great and it’s one time only. Reach out to Karen or Myself. Antennas must be paid for in advance and by the end of our April Meeting. Find more info with this announcement on our website. If you contacted either Karen or Myself and haven’t herd back from us, please let us know when you are called, later on this net.

Man made or natural disasters of big enough scope can overwhelm our normal lines of communication. Land lines, cell systems and the internet may be gone or unreliable. It may take days or weeks to bring in the infrastructure necessary to restore communications. This is where ARES can provide vital communications resources for the responders and the public.
Every licensed amateur, regardless of membership in ARRL® or any other local or national organization, is eligible to apply for membership in ARES.
Our hobby is based on the desire to communicate, and the use of technology to do so. Why not put that to good use by serving your community in times of need.
To apply for ARES® membership please go to ARESDV website.
You could make a difference, when it REALLY matters.
Give the gift of your time & communication skill. Become a ARES member today.
We would like more voices doing our net’s. Especially our Digital and Elmer nets. If you’re interested in giving it a try, let either myself or Gary KK6VZZ know during this net.
I hope to see you this weekend at DV lake.
