After testing I’ll be conducting a C4FM/Pi-Star Training and demo session.
There are some new New Pi-Stars out there. So new to Pi-Stars or just wanting to use more of it’s capabilities, feel free to come by with or without your equipment. I’ll have wifi for you to use if you need it.
Our club meeting is tomorrow, 6:30 pm at the Colonial Country Club.
Our guest speaker for the March meeting will be Ed Fong (WB6IQN).
Ed will give a history on how these antennas were developed and the theory on how and why they work so well.
As many of you know, he is the inventor of the DBJ-1 and DBJ-2 antenna that was featured in the February 2003 and March 2007 QST.
His most recent antenna was the TBJ-1 – a triband base antenna that was published in March 2017 QST.
Ed will give a history on how these antennas were developed and the
theory on how and why they work so well.
Our Meetings are a great way to find out what we are doing at LDARC, and visit with other hams. We hope to see you at the Colonial Country Club at 6:30 tomorrow night.
LDARC Flower Trail Field Trip
Our DV wildflower day out is now going to be April 8th. I didn’t like that it was April Fool’s Day and Hyatt let me know that the 1st wasn’t good for him. So April 8th is when, I think for real this time. Hopefully everyone who wanted to come on the original date will be able to join us on the 8th. All the details are at K6LDF.com.
Third Wednesday of the month is our Club Meeting.
No Digital Only Net or after hours tomorrow.
Our Second Monthly Weekend Breakfast is the last Saturday of this month.
We hope to see you this Saturday For FCC testing and PiStar Training, then next Saturday is breakfast at J&M restaurant.
Information on our club meeting tomorrow as well as testing and breakfast is on our website, K6LDF.com “where the Ham is always fresh”.
