Roster Announcement 11-29-22

This Saturday is the City of Hemet, Candyland Christmas parade. It starts at 5PM. It’s on on Florida Avenue between Gilbert and Santa Fe. We will have a table set up with other concessions at Weston Park, one block before the end of the route. I would like to thank the City of Hemet and especially KN6PUR and for making this possible. We’ll be there with our Digital Radios, some demo rigs and hopefully some effective community outreach. We’ll also have 2 drawings for a BAOFANG UV 5R HT. Come by and say Hi! Hope to see you there. More info and our event brochure is available on our club website, K6LDF.com.

Next Saturday is our annual Christmas dinner? Tickets are still available for $25. Attendance is currently up around 65 people. We’ll have a raffle, some ceremonies and prime rib. Raffle tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. Prizes include a 991a, 2 pi- stars, hats, T-shirts and other prizes donated by members. Details on the club website.

We’re having another Bands & Modes exercise tonight. 1/2 hour into the Eagle net at 8 PM. Join us tonight for the Eagle net on 10M at 28.360 USB. Then at 8:30 we’ll QSY to 20M 14.265 USB.

We will once again do a C4FM 2M exercise, at 144.925 MHz after our normal Digital Only net tomorrow, Wednesday night. We’ll be using the same frequency on Saturday for local communication during our participation at the parade.

If you haven’t already paid Karen for any Christmas Dinner reservations, please do so as soon as possible. If you would like to attend our Christmas dinner next Saturday, we would love to have you. Thank you Karen KN6MJS for your hard work planning and managing next Saturday’s dinner. You work so hard and we really appreciate what you do for us.
