Membership in the Lee De Forest Amateur Radio Club, does not require an Amateur Radio License. We will gladly assist you in getting one though.
Membership requires submitting a completed application, available here, with payment for the membership level selected on the application.
This comes with a Member Profile on the website. This Member Profile, allows you access to the Member Only area, which has the Membership Roster, with Members contact inormation, which is not available to the public. The Member Profile, coincides with membership, and expires at the end of the calendar year. There is a grace period, to the end of February, when the Profile will become disabled.
Folks who have not been a member in the previous year, and want to join later in the year, will be prorated up to October. Expired previous year Members, who pay late, will not be prorated, and the full annual dues will apply. Membership is for the calendar year.
