We used C4FM on 2 and some 6 meters

We also were ready to use 439.000 DCS 026 but everyone had C4FM capability.
6 Meters was great and worked without any issues until KE6JGM and I took different freeways home. He took the 10 and me the 210. At times 2 meters wasn’t working. That’s where 6 meters filled in quite nicely. KN6SOG was using a 5DR but stayed on 215. when we lost contact with him Bob and I stayed on 2 meters till we took different freeways.
