Bands & Modes 6-20-23
10 meter Eagle Net, 8:00 PM (2000) to 9:00 PM (2100), 28.360 Mhz USB
Third Tuesday of the month 15M 21.37Mhz USB
We are starting to use net logger on the eagle net. It will help everyone follow along when we QSY to other bands. We also hope it will bring more check-ins from outside our area.
Please join us tonight for our 10M net and then QSY with us to 15M. And use the link on this post to check out net logger.
No Digital Only Net tomorrow due to the fore-mentioned LDARC Club Meeting.
The ERC Emergency Services Net will be held at 9pm tomorrow night on this repeater.
Summer Field Day is June 24th & 25th
Operations 11am Sat – 11am Sun
Best time to visit is 11am – 4 pm Sat or Sunday Morning
No club membership is required and all are welcome! Bring friends and family.
We’ll have 3 HF stations in operation and a GOTA station. We will operate Phone and FT8 on all eligible bands. Logs will be submitted to ARRL by KE6JGM.
Join us in the morning on Saturday for breakfast. We’ll have pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and more! All prepared fresh on-site. Tickets are $10 per person. Kids are $5.
We are there setting up at 7am. See how antenna systems are set up and lend a hand. The more the merrier.
There will also be demonstrations throughout the day, like HT antenna testing, Antenna Tuning with Nano VNA, FT8 operations, How to build, customize & calibrate a Pi-Star, and of course, Phone contacting and logging.

Once Summer Field Day is over then what?
Currently we are working on a Little Thomas Mtn SOTA trip and a trip to Chinatown, downtown LA on the train. If either of those ideas interest you, let us know during role call. If you have an idea for a field trip, let us know. Any idea that gets us on the air and enjoying each others company, is welcome. This is your club, lets have some fun.
