Bands & Modes 4-11-23
Tonight after 10M Eagle Net Activity we will operate on 20M
with our Second Tuesday of the month 20M 14.265 USB
Tonight I’ll be running 3 Antennas.
I’ll use a end fed, Vertical. Both of them 24′ off the ground. And a Ham-stick with a coax back into my shack. That’s after 10 meters at 14.265 Mhz USB.
Tomorrow is our Second Wednesday of the month, KE6JGM repeater & Hemet Hangout YSF 59073 Linked operations. The issues with the hangout dropping the link to Bob’s repeater have been fixed. And there are a few new pi-star owners out there, so lets have some fun and maybe help some newbies learn the ropes. That’s after the digital only net. Where we answer digital radio questions.
Our club meeting it next Wednesday!
That’s the deadline to order, and pay for the Dr. Fong special one time antenna pricing. Please see this announcement post, on our website for pricing. There are no operators standing by. But Karen would love to take your orders.
I’m ordering the tri-band and the roll-up. These antennas have BNC leads. Dr. Fong sell’s 6′ extension cables made from the same spec coax that is used in the antenna itself.
Additionally we will have our auction for the volunteers who have helped us collect, itemize, value and bring these items up for consideration.
We are hoping to make the balance of the items available to the membership. Details will follow the first auction.
Our April Meeting is 4-19-23
As always it’s the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.
Meeting Agenda
- Minutes from last months meeting
