Happy New Year everyone!
For Bands and Modes tonight we’ll go to 40 meters. It will be at 20:30 hrs those with general class or better are invited to meet us at 7.212 LSB. I installed my new Palomar Engineers End fed today in place of the Chameleon antenna Steve has been loaning me since Winter Field Day, last year. Thank You again Steve. Let’s see how its working shall we? That’s 7.212 LSB.
After tomorrows Digital Only Net we’ll QSY to ysf 59073, Hemet Hang Out. There are some new pi-stars out there and this is a great opportunity to visit us, at the best Hemet specific ysf room.. I know this cuz it’s the only one. If you have a digital radio and a hot spot come on in the waters fine. And please reach out to me is you have any questions prior to the Digital Only Net tomorrow at 19:00hrs.
This Thursday at 18:00 hours we’ll have our first of two, Winter Field Day Zoom meetings. Please try to attend if you are participating in our WFD event. And of course everyone is welcome to join us. The link to the meeting will be posted on this evenings, Roster site entry and on the site home page prior to the meeting. WFD is where I caught the HF bug. It should be cool and comfortable and almost every aspect of Ham radio will be on display. Plus AI6ZW is cooking, and remember we’re testing that day too. Please join us for our Zoom meeting this Thursday and 18:00hrs if you can. And remember to mark January 28 at McSweeny Farms on your calendar.
