Tomorrow night 6:30 PM is our September club meeting.
We have a lot going on and time is short so I would like to give everybody the heads up on what will be covering.
We are voting on changes to the constitution. The board approved the changes at our last meeting and Tomorrow it will be put to a vote at the club meeting.
Hopefully you are familiar with our current constitution. It’s short and sweet.
Larry will read changes and then we will vote. Please be familiar with our current constitution, the changes, and be ready to vote at the meeting.
If you haven’t put your name in for Christmas dinner, please do so. Yes, it’s been said the more the merrier And I think there are more people out there. Please consider bringing additional people and being part of the celebration. Prime rib for Christmas dinner. I can’t wait. We will be nominating board members, club officers, and club president.
Karen, Marcos and Richard have accepted my request to be on the nomination committee. There’s a lot of talent in this club so let’s have a lot of nominations. Please give it some thought and be ready to put names forward at our next meeting in October.
Our speaker will be Bob Brehm, Palomar industries chief engineer. He is an expert on RFI. It plagues my shack, I’m not the only one with RFI issues. They also do some pretty cool stuff over there. There site is linked on ours. It’s worth a visit. His presentation is about 45 minutes and he’ll be available for any questions we have when it concludes. There’s a lot to think about and a lot happening at tomorrow’s club meeting. We hope to see you there and remember let’s get our Christmas dinner attendance up. Contact Karen KN6MJS.
I have been working on our new website. While it is a work in progress, we are expecting to cut it live later this week. I’ll have the new website up on the computer and will be demonstrating it, during the break and after the meeting, please check it out. I’ll be happy to familiarize you with it.
